Equipping on Biblical Womanhood

The women’s movement promised “equality” and in turn “freedom and fulfillment”; but in denying that which has been divinely planted within the innermost heart of woman, we become confused, angry, overwhelmed and often, hopeless. What we so desperately need, especially in the church, is not so much equality, or titles, more time or money, or even better relationships with men. What we need is a new vision, or rather, an ancient vision—God’s original vision for womanhood… the “beauty and the wonder” and the treasure of the distinctive makeup, calling and mission of women… of our unique helper and life giving design.

Ultimately, true fulfillment comes as we take our rightful place in God’s “grand redemptive plan”. How profound! By simply living out in the context of our own homes, families and spheres of influence God’s order and design for women (Titus 2:3-5;1 Tim 5:9-10 and Prov 31 for starters), we “adorn the gospel” and become the next links in God’s covenantal plan for the ages !!!
