akesides’s Youth and Family ministry is built on the principle that families co-laboring together in service, ministry and fellowship is God’s primary training environment for discipling youth… with the end goal of passing the baton of faith to the next generation, as well as drawing others into the race. With this in mind, monthly events have been scheduled for youth and their families. These events, led by fathers, will include opportunities for spiritual growth, service and fellowship. They also provide a great opportunity for families to invite an unchurched student to join them. See Upcoming Events.

A number of our students have also attended Worldview Academy. Not your typical summer camp, Worldview Academy Leadership Camp includes more than 26 hours of class time in which the students are challenged to think hard, think well and think biblically; how to lead from a servant’s heart; and how to share their faith in a post modern culture. An excellent tool, equipping our young people to love the Lord with all their mind!
