n order for a church body to grow in oneness, they must “be together”. Rather than a multitude of individualized programs, Lakeside prioritizes its Small Groups as the primary means of building community within our church family. In addition to our Small Groups, “special events” play an important role. These activities are purposefully planned—not for the sake of “activity”—but as “vehicles” to orchestrate Lakeside’s vision of integrating all ages that one generation might “tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” (Ps. 78) and for the “equipping of the saints for the work of ministry” (Eph. 4:12). They also provide opportunities to get to know some new folks and deepen existing relationships. In keeping with our multigenerational vision, all ages are invited unless otherwise specified.
