Walking in Truth
“It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth…” (2 John 4)
At Lakeside, we believe that parents bear the primary responsibility for discipling their children (Deut 6:4-9) and as such, we are committed to equipping and encouraging them in this high calling. As a church family, we seek to come alongside parents as well, and reinforce family discipleship through curricula that helps parents lay a solid Biblical foundation of sound doctrine. As parents—and the church—we have “no greater joy” than to hear of our children “walking in the truth”.
A child’s view of God begins to form as soon as they are born. It is our desire, as a church, to grow alongside our children—from the earliest ages—in an ever increasing knowledge and love of our great God.
